BIRSTALL CUP SEMI-FINAL WIN

   

A great result last night v Loughborough 1 to win 4 - 3.5

 

The Handicap system meant we only needed one draw to win the match.

All 4 were excellent games and a brilliant game by Charles saw him clinch a perpetual check at about 10.15 against Jim Miller with only a minute or so left on his clock.

 

We will play either Heathcote 1 or Mkt Harborough in the final.

The Wylie Cup team had an excellent win over a very strong Melton side, which in fact exceeded the grading limit, in Round 4 and so maintained their unbeaten record.
